This is another brilliant poetry competition, and is open to all ages. Hear My Voice are an organisation in Barnsley that I’ve worked with a few times over the years and I’m a big fan of what they do.

Their competition has three age categories: under 12, 12-18 and 18+. I was invited to record a short video for each age category, to hopefully inspire potential participants to pen something. You can watch my 12-18 video here.

Successful poems will be published in an anthology in spring 2021. The poems should be in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the deadline for entries is 31 October. Find out everything you need here!
