I’ve been a fan of Lence both as an artist and a producer for a while now, so I was thrilled when he asked me to host their huge event at the iconic City Varieties. 16 artists will take to the stage to perform a piece, backed by live musicians.

I’ve been commissioned to write a poem for this special opening event at the 50th anniversary edition of Spitalfields Music Festival. The event is called The Missing Piece is…Peace, and I’ll be performing my poem alongside Malika Booker, Simon Mundy, and Reshma Ruia, backed by none other than the City of London Sinfonia.
