I’m pleased to have been asked to delivery a poetry workshop as part of this year’s Wakefield Lit Fest, which takes place on the morning of Saturday 23 September.
The workshop is called ‘Planes, Trains and Seasick Pills’, and focuses on travel writing in particular. From John Betjeman to Allen Ginsberg, travel has always been a favoured subject for poets, and features heavily in my ‘Two Little Ducks’ show.
It takes place at the Taste Buds cafe in Kirkgate Station from 10am-noon, and you can purchase tickets here for £10 (£8 concessions).
