Back in the summer, my independent spoken word record label Nymphs & Thugs announced our biggest series of live events to date. This involves four regional #LIVEwire shows, plus four residency nights at Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds.
Our first event took place in Manchester on 20 September, with a packed room enjoying sets from Luke Wright, Louise Fazackerley and Kirsty Taylor, plus Toria Garbutt on hosting duties. The video highlights were produced by Northern Heart Films.
The first of our Leeds residency nights took place at Hyde Park Book Club on 2 October, with Salena Godden and Nafeesa Hamid going down a storm in front of a full house, plus yours truly on hosting duties for a top quality open mic section. These highlights were produced by Idle Work Factory.
Our next regional show is at Arnolfini in Bristol on 13 November, and our next Leeds event is on 4 December. Full info including ticket links is over on my gigs page.
