Due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, these workshops have been postponed until the autumn. As soon as I have a new date, I’ll let you know. Apologies for any disappointment and/or inconvenience, and stay safe!

I’ve been invited to deliver some poetry writing and spoken word performance workshops as part of Leeds Lit Fest 2020’s Inspiring The City programme. They’re taking place on Saturday 21 March; one session from 10am-12pm, and then another from 1.30pm-3.30pm. I’ll also be sticking around for an hour after each session to offer individual feedback.

I’ll be selecting texts on Social Problems & Social Services to use as starting points, and then we’ll run through a range of exercises to prepare you for a short performance of your work.

The workshops are open to writers of all backgrounds and experiences, and I’m really looking forward to delivering them! More information can be found on the ticket pages. You can get tickets for the 10am session here, and for the 1.30pm session here. Tickets cost £13.
