As I’m sure you can gather, most football clubs outside of the Premier League are suffering to some extent as a result of the pandemic. Those outside the Football League itself are suffering a great deal more.
I’ve been following Blyth Spartans since 2012 and the club has a very special place in my heart. So, when they commissioned me to write this poem for their new Future Fund, I was over the moon.
