There’ve been some notable silver linings during the dark cloud that is 2020. And one my personal highlights was interviewing Jakarta-based writers Ratri Ninditya and Mikael Johani for this article.

I was invited to write the piece by The State of the Arts to mark the publication of ‘The Book of Jakarta’ on Comma Press. As well as the anthology, we also discussed the Indonesian literary scene in general, and leading Jakarta spoken word night Paviliun Puisi (aka PavPu).
