i realise i’m announcing this a tad late in the game, but tomorrow (Sat 3 Sep), i’ll be making a few appearances at this two-parter event in Hull as part of Freedom Festival. first off, i’ll be driven around Hull city centre on the back of a rickshaw, accompanied by a jazz trumpeter. that’ll be between 3-4pm, and during that ride i’ll hop off twice to perform 5-minute sets.
and then between 5-8pm, there’s an event at the Wrecking Ball venue on Friargate, which includes ace poets such as Louise Fazackerley, Matt Nicholson, and some open mic. have a butcher’s below and maybe see ya there!
