i’ll be joining Farsley legend June Pearce on stage at The Constitutional for this event as part of Ink Slingers (the new Farsley Lit Fest). at the beginning of this year, Sunny Bank Mills appointed me as a writer-in-residence in their Hidden Stories project. as part of this, i wrote a poem based on June’s oral history recording – based on when she worked at SBM as a teenager. little did i know she’d come to the sharing event with her own poems, at the age of 90!

so, it’ll be great to bounce poems between us and have a chat in a more formal setting on 5 November. it takes place between 1-2pm, tickets are free, and you can reserve them here.
